We expected some staggered arrival and departure times, so planned to have heavy appetizers which could serve as dinner for those leaving early, and cookies that could serve as dessert anytime. The lamb salad, potatoes gatto, and pie were served a bit later.
I made a double batch of the Dipping Sticks, and the six half-sheet pans sitting around with rising breadsticks appeared to be hugely overboard for 17 people… but there was only one left at the party’s end!
